Recruiting for our new Large volume liquid manufacturing facility we are looking for a level one operator to become part of our growing team!
You will be accountable for ensuring that the daily requirements for the manufacture of cell culture media and reagents are met and that performance expectations are achieved on a constant basis.
What will you do !
This successful candidate will support manufacturing teams needs daily by ensuring all required packaging materials are in place. You will ensure housekeeping standards are maintained within the manufacturing facility and assist in the lower risk stages of the manufacturing process such as consumable ordering, pallet building, tank cleaning, automated washer operation and product locating.
- Involvement and interaction in daily/ weekly team meetings.
- Ensure all relevant processes are understood and followed before beginning any specific task.
- Maintain 5S standards within department.
- Report out near misses and ensure all relevant PPE is being worn.
- Accurate recording of information in batch records and any relevant logs.
- Feedback to supervisor any potential improvement ideas around Quality, EHS or efficiency.
- May be required to perform other related duties as the need arises and/or assigned.
What we looking for:
Individual must show a passion for this type of work and this industry and must be driven to continuously improve and fully engage in any initiatives that the team undertakes to make things better.
Works in a manufacturing environment.
Is required to lift up to 40 lbs.
May be required to stand for long periods of time while performing duties.
Experience in working safely with chemicals and hazardous materials is a positive attribute. Flexibility work ethic towards daily targets is needed.
